The time has come for the final three contestants; Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene to fight it out for the staggering $5 Million dollars’ worth of recording contract with well-known international music company, Sony Music Entertainment, in the The X-Factor Grand Finals! Witness the crowning of The X-Factor’s first US winner in a 2-hour Grand Finals special. This concluding episode will indeed send waves of thrill and excitement to fellow music loving viewers.
The season begun when The X-Factor went in the search for the best performer with the total package – singing talent, an attractive appearance, charming personality, able to move to the groove, remember dance steps, possess amazing stage presence and the list goes on. Contestants were divided into four categories – girls under 25, boys under 25, individuals over 25 and groups. Melanie Amaro,19, Josh Krajcik, 30 and Chris Rene, 28, have secured their positions week in and week out, now bringing them to this moment – their last chance to give it their best shot!
Join in all the thrill and anticipation as The X-Factor champion is revealed together with celebrity guest judge and the other four high profile The X-Factor judges, including the controversial and repulsive ex-American Idol judge Simon Cowell, singer and also ex-American Idol judge Paula Abdul, bombshell of girl group Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger as well as popular music producer L.A. Reid.
Adding the X-factor to the show itself is host Steve Jones who took viewers each week down the intense roads of the Live shows. Weeks have passed, and now it’s time to find a winner!

After tonight’s elimination, only three finalists remain in the competition: Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene. Tune in to THE X FACTOR two-night finale Wednesday, Dec. 21 (8:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) and Thursday, Dec. 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), when Melanie, Josh and Chris battle it out for THE X FACTOR title.
On tonight’s results show, Canty, one of L.A. Reid’s finalists from the Boys category, was eliminated from THE X FACTOR. Host Steve Jones revealed that more than 30 million votes were cast and that Canty of Bowie, MD, received the fewest votes and was sent home. In addition, Florence and the Machine performed “Spectrum” and Nicole Scherzinger sang “Pretty.”
Next week, Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene will take the stage during the last performance show of the season and compete for America’s votes, THE X FACTOR title, a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music and an iconic Pepsi commercial. Over 100,000 hopefuls auditioned, and only one finalist will earn the title of THE X FACTOR winner. Don’t miss the Final Three perform LIVE on Wednesday, Dec. 21 (8:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
