U Mobile’s customers treated to a special CNY celebration with telco’s senior management team and brand new CNY promotion in all U Mobile stores nationwide
Subscribers of U Mobile Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s most dynamic and innovative telco were in for a surprise treat last Friday when they were greeted by cheerful tunes of “Gong Xi Fa Cai” at the telco’s flagship store at Berjaya Times Square.
The happy tune sang by none other than U Mobile’s Senior Management team, was in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year festivals, which was made even more special when the team appeared in full Chinese New Year themed attire and costumes.
Speaking on the celebratory initiative, Dr. Kaizad Heerjee, Chief Executive Officer of U Mobile said, “Our customers are our number one priority. We want to usher in the New Year by showing our appreciation to our customers for their loyalty and continued support.
“Last year, we achieved our 1 millionth subscriber and we will continue in our commitment to introduce more innovative, customer-centric products and services, staying true to U Mobile’s spirit of being young, fresh and dynamic, in the year of Dragon,” he added.
Aside to Dr. Kaizad, other Senior Management team members attended the festive gathering including Lau Hock Chye, Chief Financial Officer; Shekila Ramalingam, Chief Innovation Information Officer, William Chang, Chief Corporate Planning Officer and Lisy Lee, Head of Corporate Communications. Over 20 senior management team members were present to help kick-start the company’s Chinese New Year Promotion.
The promotion, valid from 9 January to 31 January offers U Mobile customers a chance to win brand new BlackBerry Bold 9780, U Mobile 42Mbps broadband modem, 7.2 Mbps MiFi modem and other U Mobile merchandises.
To win, all customers need to do is spend a minimum of RM28 on any U Mobile product at any U Mobile store nationwide. This will entitle them to draw a lucky ang pow packet to stand the chance to win any of the prizes listed above.
Also in the spirit of Chinese New Year, U Mobile is introducing its very own customary zodiac readings to all its subscribers. Now learning about your luck, fortune, love and abundance in the year of the Dragon is as simple as typing “ON ZODIAC” and sending it to 28121. This service is FREE and is available to all U Mobile customers for 30 days from the date of subscription.
