On 20 November, UNICEF will celebrate World Children’s Day, a day of action for children, by children across the globe. On this day – the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Children – thousands of children will raise their voices in solidarity with the world’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable children.
On World Children’s Day, children around the world are coming together to help protect children’s lives, fight for their rights, and help them fulfill their potential. It’s a fun day, with a serious message. Across the globe, children will ‘take over’ high-visibility roles in hundreds of major media outlets to shine a spotlight on the most pressing challenges faced by their generation.
· Why?
