KUALA LUMPUR, 19 September 2011 – Fresh from the Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebrations, Tune Hotels is throwing its guests another treat with rooms in Malaysia on offer from as low as RM1 per night while those in Bali Indonesia RP10.000 per night.
Booking commences tomorrow (20 September 2011) up to Friday 30 September 2011. The promotional rates are available on a first come, first served basis, for stay period from 1 June 2012 – 31 August 2012. The promotion is only valid for online booking at www.tunehotels.com and does not include Tune Hotels at KLIA-LCCT Airport in Sepang and Westminster, London.
Tune Hotels has successfully pioneered a branded budget hotel brand with the concept of pay-as-you-use that has become hugely popular amongst travelers from across the world. Under the concept, guests only pay for room rates with the option of adding on other amenities like towels & toiletries, air-conditioning, in-room wifi and satellite tv service at selected hotels.
“We are very proud to have hosted over two million guests at our Tune Hotels, who have experienced our unique concept first hand. The pay-as-you-use concept has enabled Tune Hotels to keep costs low and pass on the savings to our guests via rock bottom promotional rates like this RM1/ Rp10.000 room offer. The savings that the guests enjoy can be spent on other stuff during their travel or holiday. Our guests understand this very well and have given us positive feedback,” said Mark Lankester, Group CEO of Tune Hotels.
By adding more rooms to its network, Tune Hotels has significantly improved its operational efficiency and decided to cease administration fee that it previously charged for each booking since January this year. Guests enjoy even more savings of 20% when pre-book Comfort Package that includes towels, toiletries and air conditioning credits online. Selected hotels are offering the Plus Package that bundles television and in-room wifi, representing 30% savings for online booking.
Lankester also noted that about 30 new Tune Hotels will be opening in the next 15 months. “I would like to encourage guests to stay connected with Tune Hotels via our Facebook page to keep tab of the latest openings and promotions. More Tune Hotels are scheduled for opening in the UK, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India and Australia, that will give our guests even more options for travel destinations and it’s going to be really exciting.”
Closer to home, Tune Hotels will be adding another property to its portfolio with the opening of its latest hotel in Kulim, Kedah next week. It is going to be the 10th Tune Hotel to open in Malaysia, bringing its worldwide network to 13 hotels including 2 in Bali, Indonesia and one in London, England.
Its popularity and high service quality have earned Tune Hotels numerous accolades. It was recently named among Top 20 Most Innovative Brands in Indonesia by MIX magazine, the country’s leading marketing communication publication. Standing at number nine, Tune Hotels was the only hotel brand on the list. Tune Hotel Westminster in London was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the world’s largest travel website TripAdvisor, as a “result of consistently great feedback” from the hotel guests while the guide portal About.com ranked Tune Hotel Westminster as No 1 among Top 10 Cheap London Hotels.
