THR Raaga Celebrated Ponggal with More Than One Thousand Fans

Ponggal is a traditional Indian harvest festival to give thanks to Sun God and Mother Earth.

Annually, THR Raaga will celebrate this festival with its listeners and this year team celebrated this festival with their listeners at 4 different locations nationwide.

THR Raaga announcers Aanantha, Uthaya, Suresh, Raam, Revathy, Kavimaaran, Ahila, Gheetha and Yashini gave away pots, sugar canes and Ponggal mix ingredients to their listeners at Ipoh, Klang, Rawang and Bahau.

‘As a Tamil radio station, THR Raaga aspires to promote the Indian tradition and cultures to our younger listeners,” said Content Manager of THR Raaga, Subramaniam Veerasamy.
