THE SEARCH FOR AVON STYLE MAKE UP QUEEN
30 April – The grand Avon Style Make up contest 2011 held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur today sees approximately 100 ladies from all over Malaysia showing off their make up skills and talents. These talents are selected from more than 200 entries during the Avon Style Make up contest Preliminary round, whereby contestants submitted a photo of themselves made up using Avon Style make up products.
The judges for today’s ‘live’ make up contest include renowned celebrity make up artiste; Zul Fazli, TV personality; Nurul Syuhada and popular actress, model; Dynas Mokhtar. Themed “Glamorous”, all contestants are given 45 minutes to ‘transform’ themselves.
The event also unveils two latest Avon products; namely the Moisture Seduction Lipstick and Avon Fashions Jewellery. Available in 10 shades, Moisture Seduction lipstick will be available in all Avon Beauty Boutique nationwide in June 2011. It is a breakthrough innovation which combines rich, creamy colour with visible ribbons of hydrating conditioner for radiant colour and deep moisture in one.
While Avon Fashion showcase a range of accessories, handbags and watches for various occasions. Emphasizes on its 5 main product advantages; Stylish, Affordable, Varieties, Quality and High Quality, Avon Fashion is presented by its popular actress and model Dynas Mokhtar, Avon Fashions new ambassador.
All guests were entertained by the latest singing sensation; the top 3 Avon Voices Malaysia contenders; Stephanie Van Den Driesen, Sharmaine Van Driesen and Stacey Dave. All these ladies were personally selected from more than 6000 entries globally by Fergie and the panel of Avon Voices judges. They also attended a professional Avon make over and Round One recording and photoshoot session in HongKong recently.
