Exciting Family Friendly Sessions by TGV Cinemas and Sony Pictures Animation this September. Following the successful and well received TGV Cinemas Family Friendly Sessions in TGV Cinemas 1 Utama, one of Malaysia’s leading exhibitor and multiplex cinema operators is now expanding the toddler and baby friendly movie time to four other locations in Klang Valley.
Now available in TGV Cinemas Jaya, TGV Cinemas Sunway Pyramid, TGV Cinemas Encorp Strand and TGV Cinemas Cheras Selatan, the TGV Cinemas Family Friendly sessions provides a conducive setting for both parents and children. “Not only can both parents and children engage with each other, they can also be themselves without any inhibition during our Family Friendly sessions, and the audio and cinema lights are adjusted appropriately for the comfort of toddlers. Furthermore, we also provide a diaper changing area for parent’s convenience,” said Celeste Koay, Senior Marketing Manager of TGV Cinemas.
But that’s not all!
To mark the expansion, TGV Cinemas is collaborating with Sony Pictures Animation to bring back some previous family favourites. Beginning from September 5, every weekend will be fun filled with a choice of Smurfs 1 and 2, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 1 and 2, Monster House and Hotel Transylvania 1. “And especially for the school holiday season from September 19 to 27, we are also adding the upcoming and much awaited Hotel Transylvania 2 and extending the Family Friendly sessions to both week days and weekends as well,” said Koay.
“School holidays can be a trying time for parents to find activities to keep their children occupied, but now parents can spend some quality bonding time with their children and share the joy of movies with them in our cinemas. To add to the fun, there will also be special character appearances from Hotel Transylvania 2” added Koay.
In addition, Sony Pictures Animation is also organising a Hotel Transylvania 2 Carnival in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall from September 19 to 27 whereby kids can take part in a variety of exciting events like arts and craft, colouring contest, costume competition and quizzes to take home Hotel Transylvania 2 movie premiums and movie passes from TGV Cinemas.
She went on to add that since the launch of our Family Friendly sessions a few months ago they have received feedback from parents that they appreciate the Family Friendly Sessions as it enables them to enjoy movies their toddlers without inconveniencing other cinema goers
Family Friendly sessions begin at 11.00am. For family favourites, tickets are priced at RM7 and RM5 for adults and children respectively whilst for Hotel Transylvania 2 is RM10 and RM5 respectively. Each adult is entitled to purchase up to a maximum of two child priced tickets and each additional child is either RM 7 or RM 10 per ticket (pending movie selection).
