TGV Cinemas Mesra Mall Celebrates 2nd Year Anniversary in Terengganu with Mael Lambong
The only multiplex in Terengganu to host exclusive movie preview alongside local stars
Terengganu.
TGV Cinemas, Malaysia’s top exhibitor and multiplex cinema chain operator celebrated its 2nd anniversary at Mesra Mall with an exclusive preview of the much anticipated local blockbuster movie, Mael Lambong by Excellent Pictures.
The movie preview was also joined by lead cast Mohd Razizan Abdul Razak or fondly known as Zizan Raja Lawak, Juliana Evans, Taiyudin Bakar, Shenthy Feliziana and acclaimed director Ahmad Idham.
Upon the arrival of team Mael Lambong, excited fans cheered and greeted them with sheer delight. The atmosphere at Mesra Mall was a scenic affair with the cast and director of Mael Lambong greeting and acknowledging the fans with open arms.
The event was also graced by the presence of Yang Mulia Tengku Iskandar Zulkarnain Tengku Sri Raja in high spirits to celebrate the eventful day at TGV Mesra Mall. Fans and TGV Cinemas patrons were given the opportunity to win 50 preview passes to watch Mael Lambong with exciting games and trivia session held in conjunction with the anniversary celebration.
“We have just celebrated our 17th Anniversary of TGV Cinemas in Malaysia and now we turn two at Mesra Mall, Terengganu. It is a huge honour for us to be the only operating multiplex here and we are excited to introduce TGV Cinemas’ latest offerings to our loyal patrons in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This celebration is timely with the preview of the much anticipated movie Mael Lambong and I believe the fans will be delighted to meet the lead cast and director of Mael Lambong,” said Mr. Kenny Wong, CEO of TGV Cinemas.
Produced and directed by Ahmad Idham who is the principal of Excellent Pictures, the making of this movie primarily took place in Terengganu and is part of the efforts by Idham to expand the local entertainment industry to the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Another special connection in this story is that Zizan Raja Lawak is also a proud Terengganu born jewel making him a perfect fit to play Mael Lambong.

Mael Lambong starring Zizan Raja Lawak is an action comedy thriller based on the true story of a professional car towing personnel in Kuala Lumpur that depicts love, conflict and conspiracy. His life changes after meeting Maria (Juliana Evans) who asked for his help to save her from a villain.
Right after the anniversary celebration guests, members of the media and the winning fans were treated to an exclusive preview of the movie Mael Lambong at TGV Mesra Mall.
