Samsung NX camera workshop for shutter bugs
Samsung organizes workshop at KL Bird Park with award winning photographer, Braendan Yong
Kuala Lumpur, 15 December 2010 – Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd. recently held a photography workshop for their camera enthusiasts. Armed with a Samsung NX100 camera, 15 avid photographers gathered at KL Bird Park on a bright Saturday afternoon to explore their camera functions and learn a few shooting tips from renowned international photographer, Braendan Yong.
The three hour session started with Braendan sharing tips on the Samsung NX camera functions such as shooting angle; ISO and white balance; i-Function; shutter speed; exposure and aperture. The group later took their newly acquired skills and learnings to capture amazing and vivid pictures of birds of various species. The happy-snappers even caught on camera a troop of monkeys playing right outside the park. At the end of their photo shooting spree, the participants huddled back with Braendan to have a review of the shots taken.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the successful event and look forward to more workshops by Samsung. The Samsung NX100 is an innovative mirrorless camera equipped with the world’s first i-Function lens, putting the perfect picture at the fingertips of all photographers through a completely new way of controlling your camera.
Braendan has won numerous awards and accolades from the Classical Wedding Category (MPA UK), Accolade of Excellence from WPPI (US) and Wedding and Portrait Photographers Malaysia (WPPM).
