Central Market Creative Anniversary Card Design Contest
Got talent? Design an Anniversary card for Central Market based on the theme – Central Market 125th year Celebration, and stand to win attractive prizes. This is contest is divided to Category A (aged 5-12 years ) and Category B (aged 13 years and above). Category A will be held at the Central Market Outdoor Stage on 26 October while submission for Category B must be made between 7-26 October. Walking Down The Memory Lane Photo Exhibition
Re-live the yesteryears of Central Market Kuala Lumpur and see how it was transformed from a wet market to a centre for culture, heritage, art and craft. To be held from 25 November – 8 December 2013 at the Annexe Gallery of Central Market Annexe, this special exhibition will present a stunning showcase of Central Market Kuala Lumpur’s glorious past and present.
Malaysian Heritage Food Fair
Craving for food and adventure? The Malaysian Heritage Food Fair at Central Market Kuala Lumpur is an event not-to-be-missed as visitors can enjoy great communal experience and savour Malaysia’s unique diversity in a delightful local food extravaganza. To be held from 5 to 15 December 2013, the eleven-day food festival will feature popular Malaysian food including Nasi Briyani, Rojak Pasembor,

Nasi Ayam, Mee Rebus, Mee Bandung, Popiah, Yong Tau Foo as well as an assorted array of fresh fruits and delectable desserts. Tourists and locals are welcome to savour and enjoy.
