S.H.E.’s tech-themed concert delights Maxis and Hotlink fans
Mobile customers get more from Asian pop phenomenon S.H.E in LIVE concert in Malaysia
15,000 fans including more than 120 Maxis and Hotlink users who had won free tickets, witnessed popular Asian girl group, S.H.E, live in technology-themed performance at Bukit Jalil National Outdoor Stadium.
The response from the crowd ranged from cheers to roars for the state-of-the-art production inclusive of an incredible stage set-up, and of course for the phenomenal trio and their frequent and arresting costume changes. The concert was proudly presented by Hotlink, Maxis Berhad’s leading prepaid brand, as part of its ongoing commitment to enriching customers’ lives with today’s most wanted entertainment.
Selina Jen, Hebe Tien, and Ella Chen performed 40 of their latest hits and longtime audience favourites during the 2 hour-long concert, including audience-rousers such as SuperStar, Zhong Guo Hua, Wu Yue Tian and Bo Si Mao. One of many unstoppable highlights of the night came in the form of a guest performance by the versatile Yoga Lin. The concert, properly called , is the third stop of the band’s world tour, kicking-off in Hong Kong followed by Shanghai and now Kuala Lumpur.

Over 120 intrepid Hotlink and Maxis customers picked up free concert tickets in a Chinese New Year contest from 14 till 28 February. The winners were decided based on their answering the most SMS trivia questions correctly, after downloading a S.H.E. caller ringtone. All customers were also privy to exclusive ticket discounts, and given priority in seating arrangement.
To add to overall value in entertainment, Hotlink also lined up a host of premium activities for its customers, in conjunction with the S.H.E concert. Over 80 S.H.E. fans attended a meet-and-greet session in Kuala Lumpur on 21 January, with 18 Hotlink and Maxis customers taking home autographed CDs. The following day on 22 January, a full force of 1,000 pleased customers attended the pre-concert showcase and autograph session in Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, with 600 Hotlink and Maxis customers taking home treasured, autographed posters.
As part of an overall presentation of the girl group’s talents, Maxis is offering the S.H.E caller ringtone package at only RM5 per month. Starting from a select three tracks (SuperStar, Suo Zhu Shi Jian, Zhong Guo Hua), every month, two out of the three are refreshed to ensure that friends who call you regularly, are treated to a changing variety of S.H.E. songs.

Contrary to previous fantasy and fairytale themes for their world concert tours, this outing celebrated the group’s 8th anniversary, its growth into new creative territories, and its stronghold on the loyalty of even more fans – with a techno-futuristic concert theme.
