Penyanyi sensasi terkenal era 80an, Rick Astley telah diumumkan menjadi penghibur ke-empat diumumkan untuk buat persembahan di Menara Berkembar KLCC @ Live 2014 pada 28 & 29 Mac 2014 di hadapan peminat muzik di Plaza PETRONAS.

Rick Astley adalah artis keempat diumumkan selepas Christina Aguilera bersama K -Pop sensasi, Rain dan British R & B penyanyi, Craig David. Berkongsi pentas dengan bintang antarabangsa artis Malaysia yang berbakat Joe Flizzow, Altimet, SonaOne, Ila Damia, DJ Biggie dan band yang kian meletop iaitu, Oh Chentaku dan Irama.

Penyanyi yang meletop di era muzik tahun 1987, Rick Astley sememangnya memberi impak untuk industri muzik dan dikatakan sangat terkenal dengan kegemilangan di era muzik pop disko pada ketika itu. Berikutan pengumuman debut tunggal “Never Gonna Give You Up”, semasa umurnya 21 tahun menjadikan beliau famous dan sensasi dalam sekelip mata. Dalam tempoh 2 minggu dilepaskan, tunggal Nombor 1 sampai di UK selama 5 minggu dan pergi untuk memukul Nombor 1 di 16 negara-negara lain di seluruh dunia. Rick Astley is the fourth artiste announced after Christina Aguilera alongside K-Pop sensation, Rain and British R&B singer, Craig David. Sharing the stage with these international stars are talented Malaysian artiste; Joe Flizzow, Altimet, SonaOne, Ila Damia, DJ Biggie and the up and coming band, Oh Chentaku and Irama.

Exploding on to the music scene in 1987, Rick Astley’s took the music industry by storm in an era of pop disco music. Following the release of his debut single “Never Gonna Give You Up”, the 21 year old became a sensation overnight. Within 2 weeks of its release, the single reached Number 1 in the UK for 5 weeks and went on to hit Number 1 in 16 other countries worldwide. Today, he still holds the record of being the only male solo artist to have his first 8 singles reach the Top Ten in the UK.
