With ‘Passion, Grit & Determination’, QPR stays in the Premier League!
It was a nail-biting football weekend for QPR (and fans), as the club went against Manchester City in a crucial fight to retain its place in the Barclay’s Premier League.
It was possibly the most dramatic closing in Premier League history, as it was the moment of truth for both teams.
The match saw Rangers leading the match 2-1 at one point, courtesy of goals from Djibril Cisse (48th minute) and Jamie Mackie (66th minute). But luck was not on the Hoops’ side as they conceded two more goals in stoppage time, making the final score 3-2 in favour of its opponent.
Even though it was defeat for them in the end, it was nonetheless a superb display of willpower and a memorable achievement. QPR proved that they were no minnows in the league, able to give the ‘bigger boys’ a considerable scare!
The team showed that they deserved to remain in the top flight, and have what it takes to overcome challenges that come in their way!
