Submissions for Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM 2015) nominations are officially open from now till 8 August 2015. Organised by MediaCorp’s Malay Community, Suria, Warna 94.2FM, Ria 89.7FM and Manja, this prestigious music awards ceremony returns for the 14th year to recognise outstanding talents and achievements in the regional Malay music industry.
This will be a special year for APM as it coincides with the Singapore’s Golden Jubilee celebration. To commemorate and celebrate this major milestone in our nation’s history, this star studded awards ceremony will showcase artistes and song performances which have sparkle the Malay music industry for the past 50 years.
APM 2015 will be held on Friday, 9 October 2015, 9.00pm at Suntec Singapore and will feature collaborations of artistes from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Viewers can catch the LIVE simulcast of APM 2015 on Suria, Warna 94.2FM, Ria 89.7FM (Singapore), Astro Ria (Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam) and Net. (Indonesia). Live streaming will be made available via Toggle.sg.
This year APM 2015 will be introducing a ‘Breakthru Artiste Award’ which recognises the many achievements of an established Malay artiste whom have made an impact in the international scene; gained recognition and has been a source of inspiration to many other artistes. A total of 19 awards will be presented in APM 2015. (Please refer to Annex for the awards list and past winners.)

Malay music works must be released for public consumption between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015 to qualify for the nominations. Nominees will be revealed in media conferences held in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Jakarta, Indonesia. Music lovers from the region are also given the opportunity to vote for their favourite songs and artistes in fan-driven categories at facebook.com/anugerah.planet upon the release of nominations.
