Kumpulan Payslip membariskan remaja lingkungan umur belasan tahun ini dianggotai oleh 4 orang anak muda. Payslip merupakan gabungan dua beradik iaitu Mohd Asrul Najmi (Jimmy) sebagai pemain bass dan Mohd Hakimi (Akeem) sebagai vokalis, bersama dua remaja lagi yang berlatarbelakangkan kumpulan rock lagenda XPDC, iaitu Nik Mohd Arif (Arif) sebagai pemain gitar, dan Syazwan (Wan) sebagai pemain drum.
Hasil daripada darah seni yang mengalir dalam tubuh anak-anak muda ini, mereka mengikut jejak langkah ahli keluarga yang turut meminati muzik sejak kecil lagi. Dan kini, Payslip telah diundang oleh Spotify untuk menjadi band Malaysia pertama yang mendapat perkhidmatan eksklusif pre-stream dan melancarkan single sulung di Spotify.
Spotify Launches Latest Artist Exclusive, Reveals Insights Into Malaysian Music Fans

Spotify today launches its latest artist exclusive release in Malaysia with the debut single, Syurga Sang Pencinta, from explosive new local band PAYSLIP.
Officially formed in 2012 after winning first place on ‘Jamming’, a local TV competition, PAYSLIP has performed at widely-acclaimed local events including Konsert Ekspresi Harian Metro (HM) at Dataran Merdeka, and 1Malaysia For Youth (1M4U). The band also recorded a song from Allahyarham Datuk Sudirman Haji Arshad, titled Joget Kenangan Manis, for the Hit No.1 tribute album.
Alongside the launch of the week-long exclusive pre-stream of PAYSLIP’s single which continues Spotify’s support for local acts in the region, Spotify also reveals its position as the fastest growing and only truly free music streaming service in Malaysia with unique insights on its music fans.

Malaysians are heavy desktop users, with 33% using this platform to access Spotify as compared with the rest of Asia (24%). Desktops are also the preferred streaming choice at 54%, while 39% of users use their mobile phones and 6% stream Spotify via the web player.
Spotify also recently achieved a global milestone of acquiring 10 million paying subscribers globally, up from 6 million in 2013, fueled by the roll-out of its world-first free mobile service in December 2013. Spotify offers music fans free, instant access to over 20 million songs across mobile, desktop and tablet.
