Pavilion KL shares Raya joy with orphans from Rumah Amal Siraman Kasih
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the world’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination played host to 50 children from Rumah Amal Siraman Kasih, giving the needy orphans a festive outing leading up to the Raya celebrations.
The children were treated to haircuts by Miko Galere to give them the radiant confidence for Raya celebrations, followed by a shopping spree where each child picked from fun toys, cute stationary and school bags as their Raya presents. As part of the festive spirit of giving. Parkson Pavilion also generously donated t-shirts to add to the childrens’ wardrobe.
A Raya coloring contest was presented much to the delight of the children as they carefully colored and shaded a festive visual in hopes to be one of the three best entries to win a coveted prize. The terrace of Al-Amar Lebanese Restaurant was a hive of activity, decorated with playful balloon sculptures as the children were entertained by a cheeky clown, all courtesy of Balloon Buzz Party Centre. The break-fast session at the Al-Amar Lebanese restaurant with the management and staff of Pavilion KL featured a selection of mouthwatering dishes for all to enjoy.
Earlier in the month, Pavilion KL donated RM10,000 to the home to kick-start fundraising as part of its “The Secrets of Raya†campaign, until 4 September. In the spirit of sharing and good deeds this Raya, Pavilion KL is encouraging shoppers to donate at least RM50 to Rumah Amal Siraman Kasih to get a chance to win a weekend drive experience with Bufori Classic car.
