Pavilion KL Hosts Khabar Baik Japan Campaign to Promote Japanese Arts, Culture and Food
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the world’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination, continues to demonstrate their commitment to providing shoppers with unrivalled experiences with its latest breath-taking showcase dubbed ‘Khabar Baik Japan’ from 28 February to 10 March 2012.
The event officiated by Mr. Koichi Ito, Charge D’affaires Ad Interim of Japan flaunts all things Nippon-tastic as Pavilion KL’s Centre Court was artistically transformed into a charming Japanese landscape. Since the launching of Tokyo Street in 2011, the innovative golden triangle attraction has continued to regularly captivate visitors with their creative Japanese concept showcases.
The Khabar Baik Japan event, co-organised by Pavilion KL and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) supported by the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia and Show You Japan Club was initiated with the aim of promoting Japanese arts and culture to Malaysians, while educating and giving them real life authentic experiences of everything Japan from arts, culture to food and fashion. Pavilion KL serves as an ideal platform to promote culture and arts through this event which features demonstrations and workshops amplifying Japan’s unique and attractive offerings.
“Pavilion KL is more than just a shopping mall, but a lifestyle centre which aims to immerse shoppers in unique experiences. Last year, we introduced Tokyo Street, Malaysia’s very own ‘Little Japan’, to meet the evolving and ever changing consumer trends. Ever since Tokyo Street opened its doors to shoppers, we have been bringing exclusive Japanese-themed events to Malaysia. This strategic partnership with the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, Japan National Tourism Organisation and Show You Japan Club will help us establish and amplify the fascinating Japanese culture and arts,” said Ms Joyce Yap, CEO-Retail of Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn. Bhd.
