Over a thousand exhilarated fans stormed Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday night to welcome the South Korean drama sensation, Park Bo Gum.
The 23 year-old actor, Park Bo Gum who rose to fame playing the lead role in the international hit drama, “Love in the Moonlight”, arrived in Kuala Lumpur two days ahead of the highly anticipated fan meet scheduled for this Saturday, 10 December.
Upon spotting his appearance at 11.00pm, Park Bo Gum was promptly mobbed as over a thousand of fans gone into frenzy to chase after their favourite idol, while endlessly screaming oppa (older brother in Korean language). Fans were also seen pointing cameras and mobile phones at aimless directions to catch a glimpse of the actor on photo, video and Facebook Live.
“It was just too many people. It’s a bit disappointing to have come all the way, but didn’t manage to get a good angle of oppa’s picture,” lamented 26 year-old Nur Hartini who was accompanied by two other friends.
Several die-hard fans claimed that they even bought flight tickets just to access the boarding gate and be the first to meet Park Bo Gum.
Despite the chaos, the multi-talented star calmly brave the crowd with the assistance of security officers. In exchange of the grand welcome, Park Bo Gum treated fans with his ever present charming smile on an unbelievably flawless skin throughout the journey to his vehicle.
Fan club members also assisted with the situation by attempting to build a human barricade and control the crowd, ensuring a smooth exit for Bogummy as they intimately address him.
