We are pleased to add that since 2009, Maxis has been the official provider to the Sepang International Circuit, of a speed, reliability, large bandwidth and real-time connectivity which enables smooth communication between members of race teams.”
Dato’ Seri Tony Fernandes, Lotus Racing Team Principal said ”I am absolutely delighted to welcome Maxis into the Lotus Racing family. It’s an honour to see our home country’s leading telco featured on our cars and as an integral part of our team, and we are very excited about the opportunities this partnership provides. Lotus Racing fans in Malaysia and around the world will now have even more access to our team through the fantastic range of mobile and internet platforms we’re already working on, and as an avid user of my own phone, I can’t wait to start using everything we create together.”
Together with its partners, Maxis is committing to share this weekend’s Grand Prix experience with Malaysians here and around the world, as well as with all F1™ fans. Journalists will be filing their stories using Maxis’ customised fixed lines for this event, bringing sound and image and instant reportage across distances.
