Malaysia’s largest pool of readers vote Gold for Samsung
Readers Digest awards Samsung’s LED TV with Gold Trusted Brands Awards.
Samsung’s LED TV was awarded with the Gold Trusted Brand Award from Reader’s Digest Asia Trusted Brands™ survey this year, for two consecutive years. This award was granted to Samsung for its impressive range of LED TVs based on consumer voting from a pool of readers of the top-selling English language magazine in Asia, Reader’s Digest.
Samsung’s range of LED TV thrive in several areas predominantly though its advanced imaging technology, in bringing an immersive viewing experience with crystal clear and most life-like picture quality in 2D, 3D and HD. The Samsung LED TVs are also recognised for its design of minimalist style, especially the D8000 Series with barely visible 5mm metal bezel.
The Samsung LED TV supports features that enable users to connect to the various online portals including social networking sites, Skype and Samsung’s vast library of applications, allowing users to do more than just watch TV.

Now in its 13th year, the survey is carried out in eight markets across Asia; China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. The survey determines the brands that are most trusted by consumers in 43 different product and service categories. This Asian survey is part of a broader initiative by Reader’s Digest, which conducts Trusted Brands surveys in 28 markets around the world.
In Asia, Reader’s Digest is the largest-circulating international magazine (more than one million copies are sold each month), with multiple editions published in English, Chinese, Thai, and Bahasa Indonesia. Worldwide, the magazine is published in 50 editions and 21 languages. In Malaysia, Reader’s Digest is the top-selling English language magazine, with an ABC-audited average circulation of 118,157 copies per month.
