This is the incredible story of Trishna and Krishna who were born joined at the head. The girls were abandoned shortly after birth at an orphanage in Bangladesh. They had little chance of survival. Considered cursed by their natural parents they were miraculously saved and taken to Australia by an aid worker.
For the last two years surgeons have been battling to save the lives of these two beautiful little girls. The first task of the medical team was to get the twins strong enough to undergo the traumatic surgery to separate them. This in itself involved a series of delicate operations to prepare them for their final ordeal and although the separation has been a success there is still a long way to go.
