[dropcap]B[/dropcap]aru-baru ini, Budiey ada baca di akhbar, kumpulan thrash metal legenda dari Amerika Syarikat yang amat terkenal, Metallica akan buat persembahan di Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapura pada 24 Ogos depan. Wah! Bukan main seronok lagi peminat yang ada kat Singapura tu, kan? Tapi hari ini, Budiey mendapat perkhabaran dari penganjur iaitu Galaxy Group yang mana Metallica akan datang menjelajah ke Malaysia tiga lebih awal dari Singapura iaitu pada 21 Ogos 2013. Yahooo! Budiey difahamkan, konsert Metallica Live in Malaysia di bumi Malaysia ini adalah sempena untuk meraikan ulangtahun ke-19 Galaxy Group! Ohsem!

Sudah tentu ini khabar baik untuk peminat Metallica kerana pastinya konsert ini mencatat sejarah tersendiri menjadi konsert pertama Metallica di Malaysia! Excited tak dengar berita ni? Kepada anda yang duk kat Malaysia, tak perlu lagi nak menyerang Tambah Johor bagi melihat sendiri aksi Metallica di sana.
Ini adalah lokasi pertama konsert jelajah Metallica di Asia Tenggara sebelum ke Singapura. Jadi, tak syak lagi, komuniti peminat Metallica di Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand dan Filipina teruja.
Budiey juga tak sabar untuk melihat buat pertama kali aksi James Hetfield (vokal, gitar), Kirk Hammett (gitar), Lars Ulrich (drama) dan Robert Trujillo (bass).
Kali terakhir Metallica yang terkenal dengan album seperti Masters of Puppets, Kill’em All, Ride The Lightning dan And Justice For All itu datang ke Singapura untuk buat konsert ialah pada tahun 1993.
Tiket berharga RM680, RM550, RM450, RM380, RM350 dan RM195 akan mula dijual mulai 6 Julai 2013 dan pelancaran penjualan tiket secara eksklusif akan diadakan pada 7 Julai ini di Fahrenheit 88 KL (concourse area, ground floor) dari jam 11.30 pagi ke atas.
Tiket juga akan mulai dijual di kaunter tiket Galaxy di Mid Valley, Sg Wang dan laman sesawang Ticket Charge : www.ticketcharge.com.my.

Metallica formed in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, Metallica have become one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands in history, having sold 110 million albums worldwide and playing to millions of fans the world over. They have scored several multi-platinum albums, including 1991’s Metallica (commonly referred to as “The Black Album”), which is the best selling album in history of Soundscan scanning 16 million albums in the United States alone.

Their latest album, Death Magnetic, was certified platinum just six weeks after it debuted atop the Billboard Top 200 Album chart in October 2008. Death Magnetic charted at #1 in 32 countries. Metallica have also garnered numerous awards and accolades, including nine Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, and multiple MTV Video Music Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009.
The band recently celebrated its 30th-Anniversary with a week’s worth of fan club concerts at the Fillmore Theater in San Francisco, CA. In 2012, they announced the launch of Orion Music + More, an annual two-day festival curated and headlined by the band. This past summer, Metallica unveiled a brand new stage in Mexico City that featured iconic elements that spanned its 30-year career. They played eight shows to nearly 180,000 fans at the Sports Arena in Mexico City. Later that month the band performed four shows on the same stage in Canada, two in Edmonton and two in Vancouver, during which they shot their upcoming Nimród Antal directed 3D Feature Film, Through The Never, which will be released in 2013.
When it comes to touring, there are few, if any, bands who deliver live the way Metallica do. Their shows, which began in clubs and garages in the early eighties, are now selling out in arenas and stadiums throughout the world, and continue to be among the most intense, powerful and visually stimulating concert experiences ever delivered.
The most impressive achievement that bears mentioning is the fact that Metallica continue to be a strong attraction in the touring world; a truly rare feat in today’s mercurial entertainment business, where fans often change allegiance to bands as often as they do hairstyles.
Metallica Live in Malaysia 2013 is organized by Galaxy Group in Association with LAMC Productions and Rockstar Touring; with support from Malaysia Major Events with conjunction of Visit Malaysia Year 2014. Ticket prices at RM680, RM550, RM450, RM380, RM350 and RM195, are available from July 6th and 7th exclusive public launch at Fahrenheit 88 KL (concourse area, ground floor) from 11.30am onwards.
