Earlier, Celcom Axiata launched the official logo of the Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open 2016 and was graced by YBhg Dato’ Sri Jamaludin Ibrahim, Chairman of Celcom Axiata Berhad and Tan Sri Mohamed Al-Amin Abdul Majid, the Acting President of the BAM Council during the Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open 2016 Gala Night.
The Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open 2016 logo is the embodiment of grace, power and Celcom Axiata’s burning determination for glory. The visual element of the masthead is composed of a shuttlecock smashed downwards with a fiery trail, combined with the stylised roaring head of the tiger – Malaysia’s national symbol. Its blazing chromatic colours are dynamic, lifted from Axiata Berhad’s own corporate palette.

Kicking off the most anticipated sport of badminton with a blast!

“This is the third year BAM is organising the Malaysia Open Superseries Premier and this is the most important year because it is the last Premier tournament for the Olympics’ qualifications. The Badminton World Federation is also assessing our organisation to
determine the next cycle of Superseries hosts. With Celcom Axiata’s support, I believe that this year’s Malaysia Open will be on the best and most exciting ever held in Malaysia,” he said.
