H&M PREVIEWS ITS FIRST STORE IN MALAYSIA TO GREAT APPLAUSE
Last night, H&M opened its doors to more than one thousand of Kuala Lumpur’s hottest celebrities, personalities and members of the media for the exclusive pre-launch party of its first full concept store in Malaysia located in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang.
Guests were invited to shop till they dropped at the gleaming three-storey, 36,000 square feet store and were treated to free-flowing champagne and delectable canapés while experiencing the range of collections available at H&M’s Malaysian flagship store. H&M debuts in Malaysia with the latest collections from Autumn Winter 2012 – key looks for women showcase sleek and sculptural silhouettes matched with bold shapes and confident decoration while men can expect sharp-suited 60s silhouettes where layering, texture and colours bring tailoring traditions right into the 21st century.
From key players about town to Kuala Lumpur’s fashion elite, the event was graced by Malaysia’s most notable names. Amongst the celebrities were newlywed actors Awal Ashaari and Scha Al-Yahya, international singer Yuna Zarai, Redzha Minhat, Soo Wincci, Belinda Chee, Elfira Loy, Mizz Nina, fashion “It” girls, Sereni Linggi and Shentel Lee and regional blogger Ringo Tan of Cheeserland.
Malaysia’s top DJ duo Goldfish and Blink hit the decks and wowed the crowd with non-stop, high-energy tracks ranging from popular music to R&B to house that spun late into the evening creating the ultimate trendy shopping atmosphere.
H&M will open in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang on September 22nd at 11am and will award RM500 to the person first in line. The second to fifth customers in queue will receive RM200 vouchers while the next 300 in line will be given RM50 vouchers.
