The wait is finally over! HLA, the international menswear fashion retailer, has arrived in Malaysia with the opening of its flagship store at KL’s brand new mall, MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Cheras. Known for its stylish and practical fashion, the new store marks HLA’s first international venture and spreads across 3,423 square feet offering a wide variety of the latest affordable fashion trends without compromising quality, design and style.

International menswear brand launches its first flagship store at MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Cheras
“Malaysia is our choice for international expansion for various obvious reasons. Its capital, Kuala Lumpur, is bustling with swanky, trendy and vibrant city life, which means that locals and tourists, alike, are on the constant look out for up-to-date fashion inspiration. With HLA, we can assure you of a complete fashion makeover that can take the most discerning men from day to night,” added Mr. Zhou.
The grand launch of HLA was attended by the representative from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia alongside Mr. Zhou who had the honour to launch the store. Also in attendance were the representatives from the Malaysian Retail Association, the management of MyTOWN Shopping Centre, more than 200 guests, key stakeholders from HLA and members of the media from China and Malaysia.
Guests were treated with a special performance by our very own superstar, Malaysian-born, Taiwan based singer-songwriter Gary Chaw. As a winner of major awards such as the 19th Golden Melody Awards for Best Male Mandarin Artist, Gary is famous for his stage presence, wide vocal range and amazing style.
Also in attendance were a host of the country’s foremost social media influencers, all outfitted in their best HLA ensemble. Spotted among the guests were menswear expert, Andre Amir; fashion designer, Kittie; style muse, Brian See; fitness coach, Alex Chee and social media darling – Lucas Lau.
When asked about HLA, Andre who is known for his immaculate sartorial approach to menswear said that “I love the lightweight feel of the products. I love wearing suits and layering in this weather could prove to be very challenging. In that sense, HLA is the perfect option for guys like me”.
Dior Yaw, a young socialite with an impressive following on social media consisting of fans of her cool fashion sense said, “It’s menswear but that doesn’t mean that girls can’t rock them too. Androgyny is a huge part of fashion and I am all for this trend. For the men, out there, you have no reason to dress sloppily anymore as HLA has everything that your wardrobe needs”.
HLA at MyTOWN Shopping Centre offers a range of fashion and accessories and both casual and formal wear for men. Prices start from RM39.90 for a T-Shirt. Following the successful launch of its Malaysian flagship, HLA plans to continue its expansion in Southeast Asia.
