Hilton Petaling Jaya Celebrates Completion of RM50 Million Dollar Refurbishment with a Bang
Iconic property in Malaysia unveils stunning new guestrooms, meeting facilities and a plush ballroom
Hilton Petaling Jaya, the only five-star international chain hotel in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia’s second city, marked the completion of its RM50 million refurbishment of its 554 guestrooms, meeting facilities and the hotel’s Kristal Ballroom with a corporate cocktail event themed “Hilton Petaling Jaya 2.0”.
Hilton Petaling Jaya is set to continue its 30-year association with Petaling Jaya by providing guests with an enhanced five-star hospitality experience through its refurbished guestrooms and meeting facilities. Over 300 guests and members of the media were treated to a night of entertainment and gastronomic delights to commemorate Hilton Petaling Jaya’s almost three decades of history in Petaling Jaya.
This was unveiled in the form of a video presentation which illustrated its origins dating back when the hotel was originally knows as the Jaya Puri Hotel. The refurbishment concept was also revealed to guests at the Kristal Ballroom through a ‘back-in-time’ visual representation that highlighted Hilton Petaling Jaya’s heyday and legacy over the years and its aspirations for the future.
Hilton Petaling Jaya currently boasts 554 brand new guestrooms and suites along with 18 plush meeting rooms and a Kristal Ballroom fitted with state-of-the-art facilities.
