Leading music streaming service Spotify reveals the top tracks that have put a smile on streamers’ faces, keeping us inspired and motivated to reach the halfway mark of this year!
By analysing thousands of playlists from users across the globe, looking at the emotional positivity for each track, Spotify has identified the Top 10 happiest songs that most frequently feature on feel-good playlists entitled ‘Happy’, with the appropriately titled smash-hit ‘Happy’ from Pharrell Williams topping the list.
Pharrell takes the crown as the happiest song this summer, followed by ‘Best Day Of My Life’ by American Authors, ‘The Walker’ by Fitz and The Tantrums and Clean Bandit’s hit ‘Rather Be’. Other top hits to feature include Calvin Harris’ smash hit ‘Summer’ and ‘Pompeii’ by Bastille.
