With the “2014 MTV Movie Awards” just a few days away, MTV today announced that global superstars Eminem and Rihanna are set to take the stage for their first live performance of their #1 smash hit, “The Monster” on Monday, 14 April at 8pm (WIB), 9pm (SIN/HK/PH) and 10pm (MAL) from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater L.A. LIVE.
The start of the Summer Blockbuster season will officially open with the “2014 MTV Movie Awards” Pre-Show hosted by teen acting and singing sensation, Zendaya, MTV “Teen Wolf” star, Tyler Posey, and MTV’s Josh Horowitz and Christina Garibaldi airing on Monday, 14 April at 7.30pm (WIB), 8.30pm (SIN/HK/PH) and 9.30pm (MAL).

Poised at the top of the red carpet, the co-hosts Zendaya, Tyler Posey, Josh Horowitz and Chrtistina Garibaldi will give viewers a first-hand look at all of the hip, Hollywood royalty walking the carpet from some of this summer’s most anticipated movies as they make their show-stopping arrivals. The phenomenal four will give viewers an all access pass to exclusive interviews with the hottest presenters, performers and nominees before they hit the stage for the big show.Immediately following the pre-show special, MTV will present the “2014 MTV Movie Awards,” broadcasting from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA and hosted by comedian and late night host Conan O’Brien.
Also included in the pre-show festivities will be a special edition of “MTV After Hours,” presented by Taco Bell®, and hosted by Josh Horowitz with special guests Joe Manganiello, Emile Hirsch, Brooklyn Decker, Tony Hale, Anthony Mackie and more. In fact, fans will not want to miss Mackie’s very special arrival in a Chevrolet Impala from the movie Captain America!
Additionally, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort will be on hand to introduce an exclusive sneak of the first completed scene from the highly anticipated film, The Fault In Our Stars.
And what would be a red carpet pre-show without a fierce fashion rundown? Designer Rachel Antonoff will be on the fashion beat, reporting on all the night’s best looks for MTV Style’s Red Carpet Report.
The “2014 MTV Movie Awards” will once again officially kick-off the summer blockbuster season, promising to deliver yet another epically funny, explosive, over-the-top show that features fan favorite films and actors. Channing Tatum is set to receive the third annual “MTV Trailblazer Award” honoring him for boldly paving the way with a unique and diverse body of work. Academy Award® nominated actor and producer Mark Wahlberg will be honored with the “MTV Generation Award” and fittingly be presented the award by “Entourage” cast members Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon.
The telecast will also serve as the kick-off to summer music, featuring global superstars Ellie Goulding and Zedd performing selections from the “Divergent” soundtrack. Ellie Gouldingwill perform “Beating Heart” live for the first time, while Zedd will perform “Find You” with Miriam Bryant and Matthew Koma. In addition, MTV is adding a music discovery slot into “MTV Movie Awards” that will feature MTV Artist to Watch twenty one pilots performing their current single “Car Radio.”
Mila Kunis, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Dave Franco, Amanda Seyfried, Seth Macfarlane, Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj are scheduled to present. Additional presenters and performers will be announced at a later date.
Voting for the “2014 MTV Movie Awards” is open at MovieAwards.MTV.tv through Saturday, 12 April in categories you’ll never see in any other awards show, including Best Comedic Performance, Best Villain, Best Kiss, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best Musical Moment, #WTF Moment, Best On-Screen Duo, Best Fight, Best Shirtless Performance and more. Voting for Movie of the Year will continue throughout the live broadcast of the show.
