Dog the Bounty Hunter is a reality television show which chronicles Duane “Dog” Chapman’s operations at his job as a bounty hunter, at Da Kine Bail Bonds in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dog is joined by his wife and business partner, Beth Smith Chapman, his children Leland Chapman, Duane Lee Chapman II, and “Baby” Lyssa Chapman-Galanti.

In this year of milestone anniversaries, we will travel through the past with Dog as he makes a present-day journey through Colorado and Texas (with Beth and the Posse) to re-connect with old friends and mentors, and re-live significant moments from his past. Dog’s life has always been extraordinary: from his wild outlaw-biker days to his rehabilitation in a Texas prison to his long journey since then to become the world’s greatest bounty hunter. This “Dog-ography” will be one of the most compelling and moving hours of Dog the Bounty Hunter yet!

Dog is fighting a war on two fronts, but neither involves hunting a fugitive. One, well known to the public, is his the legal battle to clear his name and fight extradition to Mexico in connection with his 2003 capture of fugitive rapist Andrew Luster. The other struggle is private – demoralized by his arrest on the extradition warrant last fall, Dog has begun to questions his hunger to ever bounty hunt again!
The Mystery of Mona Lisa, 14 April
The day begins on an eerie note when, as the team prepares to hunt, Beth arrives with a gift from a friend – a painting of Dog’s recently deceased daughter, Barbara Katy. This reminds the entire team of her death in a high-speed car wreck only a few months ago, and everyone needs a moment to recover. But as Dog tries to put his feelings behind him and starts to work the case case, Baby Lyssa points out that the fugitive and Barbara share the same birth date. Dog vows to capture the young woman so he can warn her away from the mistakes his own daughter made. But nothing about catching Mona Lisa comes easily, and as the hunt stretches into a complicated game of cat and mouse Dog begins to wonder if Mona Lisa might be the one that gets away.
