Rupanya, ada grup band muzik berkonsepkan rock metal yang menggelarkan diri mereka Devil Wears Prada, yang ditubuh sebelum adanya filem tu.
Devil Wears Prada telah menghasilkan 5 studio album termasuklah 8:18. Nama Devil Wears Prada diberikan berdasarkan sebuah novel yang menurut mereka menceritakan tentang anti materialism di mana grup ini sangat menyokong fahaman anti materialistik. Walhal, novel itu sebenarnya menceritakan tentang fesyen dan materialistik.
Esok, 1 Februari 2014, tarikh bersejarah untuk band Devil Wears Prada yang dianggotai Mike Hranica (vokalis), Jeremy DePoyster (vokalis & gitar rhythm), Chris Rubey (gitar utama). Andy Trick (bassist) dan Daniel Williams (drummer) kerana dapat menjejakkan kaki di Malaysia untuk konsert pertama mereka di KL Live bermula jam 8 malam.
Kehadiran mereka adalah untuk memperdengarkan rangkaian lagu di dalam album terbaru mereka iaitu 8.18 yang telah pun dilancarkan di pasaran Amerika pada 17 September 2013. Album tersebut memuatkan lagu yang digemari peminat mereka iaitu Home for Grave dan Martyrs.
Budiey dikhabarkan, persembahan ini akan didahulukan dengan opening act dari Massacre Conspiracy, The Padangs & OCK.

The Devil Wears Prada is an American melodic metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio formed in 2005 consisting of members Mike Hranica (vocals), Chris Rubey (lead guitar), Jeremy DePoyster (rhythm guitar, vocals), Andy Trick (bass), and Daniel Williams (drums). The band had maintained its original lineup until keyboardist James Baney left the band.
To date, the group has released five full- length albums (Dear Love:A beautiful Discord in 2006, Plagues in 2007, With Roots Above And Branches Below in 2009, Zombie Ep in 2010, Dead Throne in 2011,Dead And Alive in 2012 , 8:18 in 2013) one DVD, one EP, thirteen singles, and ten music videos and are currently signed to Roadrunner Records.
