TUNE TALK PRESENTS ‘DEFTONES LIVE IN KL’ FOR VALENTINE’S
Rock music enthusiasts will soon be treated with an explosive onstage performance when chart-topping American rock act Deftones, one of the biggest underground bands in the world make their way onto Malaysian shores for their first ever concert in the country.
‘Deftones Live in Kuala Lumpur’, set to rock on 14 February 2011 at the KL Live, Jalan Sultan Ismail, is presented by Tune Talk, the country’s fastest growing prepaid mobile service in conjunction with Valentine’s Day.

The concert tickets are priced at RM258 for Rock Zone free standing category, RM188 for upper tier free standing & RM98 for lower tier free standing.

Formed in 1988 and hailing from Sacramento in California, Deftones enthralled the music fraternity with their distinctive–artistic but heavy–sound and award winning records. With six albums under their belt, the band won two Platinum (for albums Adrenaline & White Pony) and two Gold certifications (for albums Around the Fur & Deftones).
The band’s first mainstream break was through their 1997 album Around the Fur. Songs from this album, My Own Summer (Shove It) and Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away), gained regular airplay on radio and MTV.
The band’s latest album is Diamond Eyes, released in early 2010. The band’s current line-up are Chino Moreno (Vocals), Steven Carpenter (Guitar), Sergio Vega (Bass), Abe Cunningham (Drums) and Frank Delgado (programmer/D.J./keyboards).
