Maher Zain’s debut album, Thank You Allah (2009) sold more than 250,000 copies in Malaysia while his second album, Forgive Me, recently released in 16 countries in April this year has already gone four times platinum here. Although recording mainly in English, Maher has also released some of his most popular songs in other languages including French, Arabic and Turkish. For this album, Maher has recorded two songs in Malay; ‘Ku Milik-Mu’ and ‘Tuntutan Kepada-Mu’ for the album, as a thank you to his Malaysian fans, currently representing 60 percent out of 3.7 million followers on his Facebook page.
