BRUNO MARS EAGERLY AWAITED SECOND ALBUM “UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX” DROPS ON DECEMBER 11TH, AVAILABLE AT ALL LOCAL RETAIL STORES NOW
Kuala Lumpur, KL (December 11, 2012) – Warner Music Malaysia takes the opportunity to celebrate the release of Bruno Mars sophomore album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ by spreading the spirit on a Selangor public holiday. The album cover of Bruno Mars latest album comes to life as an Ape together with 70 mini Bruno Mars invaded Kuala Lumpur. The unorthodox groups were seen blending into activities of regular Malaysians. From getting stuck in the infamous KL traffic jams to Christmas shopping in Bukit Bintang. The unorthodox group was pleasantly spotted at several locations
Kesas Highway Petrol Station- Ape and mini Bruno Mars was seen paying for fuel at the petrol kiosk and filling the car with fuel.
Taipan area- Ape queuing with other patrons at Starbucks to purchase coffee.
MacDonald – Ape seen choosing his set meal and having lunch at MacDonald.
KL City Street: Ape and mini Bruno Mars helped control/ traffic flow at busy pedestrian crossing
Magazine Store: Ape and mini Bruno Mars reading Galaxie Magazine as Bruno Mars is on the cover of the magazine.
Music Retail Store (Pavillion and Midvalley) – Ape and friends at the music store to check out Bruno Mars brand new album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ and
becomes a salesman promoting the new album which are available at all stores.
Flashmob -The Ape was joined by an additional 100 flash mobbers to treat the crowd at the Pavillion mall entrance to a
6 minutes mash up of Bruno Mars songs ending with the catchy current single ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’
The public reactions to the event were amused by the Ape antics,entertained with Bruno Mars music from the mini boom box and curious by the ‘SCAN ME’ t-shirt. Following the flash mob, shoppers along Bukit Bintang were seen clicking away at the freeze mob groups with ‘SCAN ME” QR codes displayed on their t shirts. Bruno Mars second highly anticipated album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ is made available in all local retail outlets starting 11th December 2012. On October 2nd, 2012 the first single ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ premiered to Malaysian audiences garnering many positive reactions from listeners making the single a hit across all radio stations of different languages.
