[dropcap]S[/dropcap]amsung Malaysia Electronics, a leader in technology, were the clear consumers’ choice at the esteemed Putra Brand Awards, winning a number of awards in a variety of categories at the ceremony.
Samsung were the winners of the coveted Putra Brand of the Year award, and collected three gold awards in the categories of:
- • Communication – Devices
- • IT, Business & Office Equipment
- • Personal, Household & Outdoor Appliances
Managing Director of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, Kwon Jae Hoon commented on the win,

Bestowed to the most valuable brands in Malaysia, the Putra Brand Awards are determined by an online survey as voted by consumers, which boasts a formidable sample size of 6,000 respondents. The awards laud the excellence in the branding accomplishments of Malaysian companies and SMEs across 21 categories. It is run by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia (4As), and recognised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Martrade).
