The wait is over! Big Time Rush’s debut album, BTR will hit music stores nationwide on the 27th April 2011! Big Time Rush is living proof of the proverb “good things come to those who wait.” The process of finding Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson began three years ago, and now, after an incredibly successful first season on their hit Nickelodeon show of the same name, the band is finally ready to unveil their debut album.
BTR is comprised of 11 original songs, featuring the catchy first single, “Boyfriend feat. Snoop Dogg”.
The album also includes the band’s R&B duet with Jordin Sparks, “Count On You,” which was performed with the American Idol winner on the band’s unforgettable Season One episode “Big Time Sparks.” The cultivation of the four members has been much more intense, raising the bar with A-list producers and collaborators such as Kevin Rudolf (Leona Lewis, Lil Wayne), Claude Kelly (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears), S*A*M and Sluggo (Boys Like Girls, We The Kings, Gym Class Heroes) and OFM (Jay Sean).
Since the launch of the show–the highest-rated and most-watched live-action series premiere with kids, tweens and total viewers (6.8 million) in the history of Nickelodeon–the members of Big Time Rush have ridden a wave of success. The group has sold nearly 700,000 combined digital single sales to date.
For 1 month only, you can get the BTR album at only RM29.90! A very good deal as the normal price is at RM46.90, but this offer is only valid from 27th April – 26th May 2011 and is available at music stores in the Klang Valley only.
Big Time Rush, produced in partnership with Sony Music, follows four best friends from Minnesota—Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan—as they trade in their hockey sticks and parkas for a chance at music superstardom in Los Angeles. With a few misadventures along the way, the boys quickly find out that life in Hollywood is not all about hanging at the pool and attending parties.
After proving to themselves and their record label that they are serious about their musical career, Big Time Rush are now ready for the next phase of their personal and professional lives.
Between juggling the demands of their newfound fame, romantic relationships, finding their own personal musical style and homework the group learns that success comes with hard work and dedication – and the support of one another.
To understand Big Time Rush is to know their smash series, which boasts the highest-rated and most-watched live-action premiere in the history of the network, attracting 6.8 million viewers. The anticipated 2nd season will air on the 23rd of May on Nickelodeon channel.
