Ms. Oo is the lucky winner of “Travel 365 days in Thailand” Grand Prize, a promotion that will continue in this year’s Amazing Thailand Grand Sale for international Visa cardholders. Thailand’s popular annual Grand Sale is back this year from 15 June to 15 August 2015. More than 15,000 merchants in 93 department stores and shopping complexes, as well as hotels, spas, and golf courses, from seven leading tourist destinations will offer special discounts of up to 80 percent . This year, for the first time, the Northeastern city of Udon Thani, will join Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Phuket, and Hat Yai in this two-month-long campaign.
Initiated by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale (ATGS) has been held annually in conjunction with Visa since 1998 to provide unparalleled shopping and travel experiences to Visa cardholders.
Thailand is also one of the top ten cross border corridors for Malaysia. Based on Visanet data, there is more than 50 per cent year-on-year growth in payment volume as of March 2015.
