AirAsia is all set for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations as it today announced additional flight frequencies to Kota Bharu, Langkawi, Pekanbaru, Solo, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket from 2nd – 18th August 2013.
The promotional seats are already available for booking now at www.airasia.com for the travel period from 2nd August 2013 – 18th August 2013 as well as via AirAsia’s mobile booking platforms through WAP enabled phones at mobile.airasia.com and AirAsia apps on iPhone and Android devices.
Moreover, Airasia is increasing its flight frequency from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi from 66x weekly to 70x weekly effective from June onwards, Kuala Lumpur to Pekanbaru from 7x weekly to 14x weekly effective from August onwards and Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok from 63x weekly to 70x weekly effective from August onwards.
Guests will enjoy promotional all-in-fares when they fly from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu from as low as RM94* one way and Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi from as low as RM114*one way, Kuala Lumpur to Pekanbaru from as low as RM89* one way, Kuala Lumpur to Solo from as low as RM149* one way, Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok from as low as RM79* one way, Kuala Lumpur to Chiang Mai from as low as RM169* one way, Kuala Lumpur to Phuket from as low as RM99* one way.
Kenny Wong, Commercial Director of AirAsia Berhad said, “The additional flight frequencies have been introduced as we expect a travel surge during the festive period. With the additional flights, we are offering Malaysians more flight options to return to their hometowns to celebrate Hari Raya with their families. We hope guests who are planning for a holiday during the upcoming Raya celebrations will take advantage of the additional frequencies to leisure destinations such as Chiang Mai, Phuket and Solo and of the permanent additional frequencies to destinations such as Bangkok, Pekanbaru and Langkawi.”
Guests are encouraged to pre-book their check-in baggage allocation online along with their flight bookings as they are able to save up to 66% as compared to checking-in their bags over the airport counter.
Apart from that, guests are also able to pre-book their in-flight meals with a wide variety of hot meals available on board with an option to book up to two meals for each guest. Check-in baggage allocation, in-flight meals, Pick-A-Seat, travel insurance and more are all available online and guests are able to add or make changes to their booking very simply through ‘Manage My Booking’.
