AirAsia Introduces New Kota Kinabalu Bali Flights

AirAsia is introducing a brand new route from Kota Kinabalu (BKI) – Bali (DPS) with 3x weekly flights on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and will commence operations on 27th July 2013.

This new route will be operated by AirAsia Indonesia with the flight code QZ and is already available for booking online at www.airasia.com as well as via AirAsia’s mobile booking platforms through WAP enabled phones at mobile.airasia.com and AirAsia apps on iPhone and Android devices.

To celebrate this new route, AirAsia is offering all-in-fares from as low as RM159 one way, and the booking period is from today until 28 April 2013. Guests are able to travel from 27 July – 30 September 2013 for this promotion.

Currently, Kota Kinabalu serves as a hub for the AirAsia network, connecting Kota Kinabalu with 6 domestic destinations (Sandakan, Tawau, Miri, Kuching, Penang, Kuala Lumpur) as well as 7 international destinations across 4 countries (Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, China). Bali will be the 8th international destination served from Kota Kinabalu.

Kota Kinabalu is well known for its beautiful nature and eco-tourism offerings, and now visitors to the land which the majestic Mt. Kinabalu stands, can hop on to another island gem to discover a different culture, stroll along sandy beaches and experience the unique landscapes of Bali with the introduction of this new route.

AirAsia Indonesia will also be resuming its Bali – Darwin, Australia flights effective 1st July 2013 with 4 weekly flights and improved departure and arrival times. The flights are available for booking with all-in-fares from RM317 one way at AirAsia’s website www.airasia.com from today until 28 April, and for the travel period from 1 July 2013 – 20 April 2014.

Apart from Darwin, visitors to Bali are also able to connect to a second destination in Australia with three (3) daily flights from Bali – Perth.

Guests are encouraged to pre-book their check-in baggage allocation online along with their flight bookings as they are able to save up to 66% as compared to checking-in their bags over the airport counter.

Apart from that, guests are also able to pre-book their in-flight meals with a wide variety of hot meals available on board with an option to book up to two meals for each guest. Check-in baggage allocation, in-flight meals, Pick-A-Seat, travel insurance and more are all available online and guests are able to add or make changes to their booking very simply through ‘Manage My Booking’.
