Firefly, the airline that offers convenience and seamless service in short-haul air travel was granted the Superbrand status when it was awarded “Superbrand Malaysia’s Choice 2017” after being selected by the Malaysia Superbrands Council following a strict selection process.
Congrats! Firefly Airlines Receives a Superbrand Status
Superbrand is one of the world’s most respected independent brand excellence authorities, strengthening a brand’s image and reassuring consumers and suppliers that they are dealing with the best in a specific category. The Superbrand Council scores each brand against the criteria of Superbrand’s definition of a Superbrand, which means a brand that offers consumers significant emotional and physical advantages over its competitors which consumers want, recognize and are willing to pay a premium for.
Firefly’s CEO, Ignatius Ong said, “We thank the Superbrands Council for giving us this honour once again after 2011. Firefly is thrilled to accept this distinguished award and receiving Superbrand status once again. Firefly has also received other numerous awards and recognition. The most recent was when Firefly was conferred “Superbrand” status in 2011. Other awards received include the 2010 Frost & Sullivan Value Airline of the Year award and the Green Initiative of the Year 2010 award by Leaders in Aviation in conjunction with the Doha Aviation Summit. Firefly is also recognised as the Best Brand in Aviation for the Brand Laureate.
