HBO has announced the debut of a remarkable line up of brand new original series and movies, coming soon to viewers in Asia same time as the US.
Leading the network’s 2016 slate of titles is VINYL, an HBO Original drama series from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter. Other new HBO Original series include DIVORCE, the highly anticipated WESTWORLD, and HBO Original movies, ALL THE WAY and CONFIRMATION. Details of these titles can be found below.
New seasons of TOGETHERNESS (February 22 at 11.30am / 11.30pm), GAME OF THRONES (April), SILICON VALLEY, VEEP, BALLERS and THE LEFTOVERS will return to HBO in 2016. BANSHEE will also return to CINEMAX in 2016.
Also on HBO in 2016 is the live simulcast of the 88th Annual Academy Awards nominee announcement, red carpet arrivals and the 2016 Oscars® awards show, broadcast direct from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

From Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, this new HBO Original drama series directed by Martin Scorsese kicks off its ten-episode season with a two-hour premiere, on Monday, February 15 at 10pm on HBO. Set in 1970s New York City, VINYL is a ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop, seen through the eyes of a record label president (played by Bobby Cannavale), who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.
Additional series regulars include Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger and Paul Ben-Victor. Sarah Jessica Parker returns to HBO in this new comedy series about a very, very long divorce. Here, she stars as Frances, a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought.
Other series regulars include Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam and Tracy Letts. DIVORCE, currently in production in New York, was created by Sharon Horgan, and executive produced by Horgan, Paul Simms, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan.
