WEIL Hotel Iftar brings much joy to children from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Darus Salam. Celebration lit up with a children-for-children performance & sumptuous Middle Eastern delicacies. WEIL Hotel celebrated Iftar with children from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Darus Salam with their scrumptious lining of Middle Eastern Ramadhan buffet, yesterday.
The Iftar session, held in WEIL’s Hotel Ballroom was joined by former Ipoh City Mayor, Dato’ Haji Roshidi bin Haji Hashim, Dato’ Dr. Mah Hang Soon, the State Exco Members of Perak and Dato’ Liew Sew Yee, Chairman of Thong Fook Corporation Sdn. Bhd.
The event was held as part of WEIL Hotel’s festive celebration initiatives and to embrace Ramadhan’s spirit of giving and sharing. WEIL Hotel invited students from Smart Reader Kids Islamic and Sekolah Tahfiz Al-Quran Al-Barakah who performed the Nasyid and Qasidah respectively in a bid to gather the children of various backgrounds to share and enjoy a memorable event. The children-for-children performance has lightened up the atmosphere throughout the entire dinner celebration. Children from the home were also given duit raya together with goodie bags.

Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Darus Salam was established in 2009 to educate and provide care for the children to be better prepared for the challenges that they may face in the future. Its objective is to provide programmes for the development of children and young adults.
