The journey for Enfiniti began with the highly successful Puteri Gunung Ledang movie, which won numerous local and international awards including Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Actress and Best producer. The movie was subsequently made into a stage musical, and Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical has since then changed the landscape of the arts industry in Malaysia, and set new records for ticket sales and show attendance.
Enfiniti’s success continued with P.Ramlee The Musical, celebrating the life and legacy of Malaysia’s most endearing showman. Tickets for P. Ramlee The Musical 1 & 2 were sold out in a record 24days, brought in a whole new audience to Istana Budaya and saw full houses at every show. This musical, one of Enfiniti’s biggest productions in terms of set, cast and technical production, won six awards at the 6th Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2007.
“P. Ramlee” wow-ed theatre fans in Singapore when it was performed in May 2008, and Esplanade CEO Mr. Benson Puah, was full of praise for the show that amazed him because it brought “a whole new Singaporean audience out of the woodworks, for the first time, to the Esplanade.”
Benson went on to say that what makes all Enfiniti’s productions a head above all the rest, is because we have a talented team of not only strong lead and supporting actors, but a fantastic and most talented ensemble cast, who brought every scene alive.
In conjunction with the 50th Independence Day celebrations of Sarawak in September last year, the Government of Sarawak specially commissioned a tribute to the legendary Tan Sri P.Ramlee. Enfiniti brought the full production of P. Ramlee to Kuching, and the musical performed to 5,000 people and standing ovations over 2 nights at the Borneo Convention Centre.
P.Ramlee The Musical Season 3 is back with a brand new cast, fresh new direction and slick new choreography.

Quotes from the Cast and Creative Team:
Tiara Jacquelina (Producer) :
“I would sit in the audience and cry my eyes out every night watching this show, it’s as though P. Ramlee is there on stage telling us his life story, like he never left us. As the Anak Seni who have inherited the legacy he left behind in the Malaysian cinema and music scene,
I feel compelled to continue to tell his story, so that his name will live on for many generations. I’m so excited to announce the new cast for Season 3.
Tony is an extremely talented actor and will bring depth to his role as the Legend.
Nadia has “grown” and developed with us since Puteri Gunung Ledang Season 1, and has proved herself as a supreme performer worthy of taking on the role as Puan Sri Saloma.
As for Lisa Surihani, I regard her as one of the best current actresses, and we are so glad she said “yes” to joining our cast. Audiences will get to hear her sing “live” as Junaidah, two of the most challenging songs in the show.
I’m so happy that Douglas Lim (who previously played Run Me Shaw) will return to the show – this season, he takes on the role of the late Sir Run Run Shaw.
J.J will surely be one of the biggest surprises this season, playing B.S. Rajhans – I’ve been a huge fan of his… watching his performances on various YouTube parodies convinced me that he can act and sing, and he passed the audition with flying colours. We are so pleased to launch his musical theatre career!
Pat Ibrahim has been a favourite collaborator of mine for many, many years, and we have this sort of “shorthand” between us by now. We worked together on a new staging and direction for the production in Kuching last year, which we can’t wait to share with audiences in K.L!
Jason Voo, an outstanding product of Berklee College of Music, Boston, also proved his mettle as Musical Director for the first time, in P. Ramlee Kuching. He brings with him a fresh and exciting new feel in the music arrangement for this season.
We are very grateful to our partners, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture for their endorsement and support that has enabled us to stage this new season of P.Ramlee.”
“I have always been intrigued by this grand lady whom I had the opportunity to act with in a made-for-TV-movie (“Banjir” by Nurhalim Ismail) in the early years of my career. Ever since then, I’ve researched her life story and have been waiting for an opportunity to tell it either on film or stage. Hers is a life well lived, and she has seen the ups and downs of life, but lived with absolutely no regrets.
I’m looking forward to acting opposite Tony again. He is such a dedicated professional, and I enjoy the repartee we have on stage together. It’s fiery one moment and loving, the other. I’m looking forward to being on stage at Istana Budaya again too, it’s been too long!”
– Tiara on playing Norizan
“The chance to play a legend may only happen once in a lifetime, but the exhilaration and fulfilment I gain will resonate within me forever.”
– Tony Eusoff playing P. Ramlee
First and foremost, I am truly humbled and honoured to be offered the part Junaidah for PRTM Season 3, to be a part of Puan Seri Tiara Jacquelina’s team! It has always been in my career bucket list to be involved with her theatre production. I am excited and looking forward to hard work, trainings and rehearsals and also for the most of it, the fun filled with love and joy!
– Lisa Surihani playing Junaidah
I’m thrilled to be part of such an amazing show being staged for the 4th time . I’m a fan of P Ramlee, I’m a fan of Shaw Brothers, I’m a fan of Douglas Lim, so to be acting alongside him and as one of the brothers is truly exciting.
– Reuben playing Shaw Brothers
I can’t believe I’m part of something so amazing. I’ve always respected P Ramlee and what he has brought and shared with all of us. To be a part of telling that story is just amazing. Plus with this amazing team I just can wait. This is my first time on stage and I believe I’m in good hands.
– JJ (Red FM) playing B.S. Rajhans
