New ultrathin HP Pavilion notebook on AMD’s platform brings HD entertainment to life at a surprisingly affordable price
HP today announced the next evolution in notebook design with the launch of a thin and light ultra-portable PC packed with future-proof innovations – the HP Pavilion dv2 Series Entertainment Notebook PC, powered by the AMD Athlon™ Neo Processor-based platform.
This latest product advancement from HP delivers uncompromised performance, at a price point that reflects the needs of today’s consumers and current market sentiments. All this and more comes in a stylish and compact form factor, and is available in a choice of unique Moonlight white or Espresso Black HP Imprints.

Lean and loaded
The dv2 packs a powerful punch at just under 1-inch thin and starting at 1.64 kilos(1). It has exceptional high-definition(2), entertainment features that include HP MediaSmart and Blu-ray(3) to bring discrete graphics to life, whether at home or on-the-go. Windows Vista® Home Premium technology and a variety of high-capacity hard drive options up to 500 gigabytes (GB) also provides ample room for storing photos, music, games and other content(4).
The dv2 delivers a full PC experience with breakthrough, energy efficient AMD Athlon™ Neo Processor-based platform with ATI Radeon™ HD3410 with 512MB dedicated video memory. (5).

The dv2 also supports optional built-in WWAN for wireless connectivity and includes an HP Webcam and microphone, making it easier for consumers to stay in touch with friends and family.

Designed with this in mind, the dv2 delivers the highest quality multimedia experience while making a style statement with elegant modern lines, lustrous metallic finishes. The new HP Imprint designs on the palm rest in Moonlight white and Espresso black are also a new feature unique to the HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook PC product range.
