GO ENVIRONMENTALIST WITH IMPIANA KLCC HOTEL
Kuala Lumpur – Small initiatives can sometimes have a big effect, and it’s that time of the year again when Impiana KLCC Hotel turn up their environmental conscience for one day. The day will see unplugged community events held across and not only at the Hotel.
This event is an opportunity to think beyond the hour and consider how you can reduce your impact on the planet on a daily basis. The lobby will be decorated with a green plant centerpiece to infuse the spirit of going green on that day. Green T-Shirt Teddy Bear to be sold at RM20.00 per unit to the guest and they will get to sign on Earth Hour Board at Hospitality Desk as a show of support by purchasing them. The proceeds will go to hotel’s GO GREEN focus group.
Guest will be greeted with “Happy Earth Hour Day” by fellow hotel associates and a special “Green Drink” will be served to all the guest staying in Impiana KLCC Hotel in conjunction with the event.
In-room guest letter featuring Earth Hour logo in each room to ensure the importance of going green by turning the tap and switching the lights off when its not use. Distribution of Earth Hour Info leaflet at the lobby to attract guest’s attention on this event and promoting the way we treat our planet by making the world a better place to live.
Earth Hour demonstrates the true power of people uniting to protect the planet therefore the Hoteliers have decided to gather on this day and allows individuals to come together, get off the grid and celebrate the amazing planet that we call home. The hotel is also registered on www.earthour.org
