Pavilion KL’s Green Dream for Earth Day
Pavilion KL hosted an afternoon of fun-filled activities exclusively for Pavilion Junior members in celebration of Earth Day last weekend. This global initiative promotes environmental awareness and conservation by instilling the concept of “Reduce, Reuse & Recycle” in the minds’ of the public.
“Global environmental campaigns like Earth Day are the opportune time to teach Pavilion Juniors about the importance of caring for the environment while having fun and being entertained. Environmental consciousness is an essential message to learn and we always look for new, enjoyable ways to demonstrate this to Pavilion Junior members,” said Ms Kung Suan Ai, Director of Marketing for Pavilion KL.
Students from the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) performed the ‘8 Different Endangered Species’ Dance as well as conducted a mini workshop on the endangered species for a fun yet entertaining learning experience for the children.
Pavilion Juniors were invited to take part in the hands-on session to make the ‘Green Dream’ come to life. They decorated a special Earth Day backdrop with recyclable items for an arts and crafts exercise. Each participant also did their part to re-green a tree, by writing an environmental pledge onto a plush green leaf cut-out.
Interested parents with children aged 4 to 12 years old are able to sign-up for a free Pavilion Junior membership with a spend of RM100 mall-wide in a single receipt.
