NO MORE PROCESSING FEE FOR AIRASIA BOOKING WITH BIG VISA CARD
Low redemption fiesta from as low as 100 BIG Points now!
KUALA LUMPUR, 9 February 2012 – Here’s what AirAsia guests have been asking and waiting for – the payment card that waives processing fees for online bookings with the world’s best low cost airline.
This special privilege from AirAsia is given exclusively for BIG Visa Prepaid Card holders in Malaysia for bookings made on www.airasia.com.

Although this feature is currently available only for Malaysian residents, we are working on expanding the Visa payment application to BIG Shots in other countries in the near future so more customers will benefit.”
According to Kathleen Tan, AirAsia’s Regional Head of Commercial, “We are pleased to be extending this exemption from processing fee to BIG Visa Prepaid Card holders. At AirAsia, it is always about giving our guests choices and allowing preferences, be it for amenities or payment methods. No processing fee is charged if guests choose to pay via direct debit e-banking and now BIG Shots will be enjoying the same privilege.”
BIG is an innovative global loyalty programme that allows members (BIG Shots) to earn BIG Points when travelling and shopping, and redeem the accumulated points for exciting rewards including flight seats on AirAsia. BIG loyalty membership is open to anyone aged 2 years and above anywhere in the world.
In Malaysia, the BIG card doubles up as a BIG Visa Prepaid Card, which cardholders can reload at all major banks or online at BIG’s website www.tune2big.com. Cardholders can shop at millions of merchants worldwide where Visa is accepted, both online and over the counter. BIG Visa Prepaid is eligible for those aged 18 and above residing in Malaysia.
In conjunction with the removal of processing fees for payments via Visa Prepaid Card, BIG is throwing a limited-period only low redemption fair. From now until 12 February 2012, AirAsia flight seats to various destinations including Bali, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Singapore, Langkawi and Penang are up for BIG redemption from as low as 100 BIG Points only. BIG Shots may choose travel dates of between 15 February and 31 March 2012.
What’s even better is new BIG loyalty applicants during this promotional period will be automatically rewarded with 250 BIG Points upon successful application.
Meanwhile, especially for football fans, BIG is currently running a contest offering a pair of match tickets and all-expenses paid trips each to five lucky winners to watch the English Premier League team Queens Park Rangers (QPR) home match against Liverpool at Loftus Road in London on 17 March 2012. The contest is open until 24 February 2012.

There are 1,500 BIG partners with more than 3,000 retail outlets around the globe where BIG Shots can collect double BIG Points, both online and offline.
