U MOBILE SUPPORTS YOUNG TALENTS WITH POP STAR 2011

It was a joyous occasion at U Mobile Centre, Berjaya Times Square as U Mobile Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s most dynamic and innovative telco service provider celebrates the top 10 semi-finalists of Pop Star 2011.

U Mobile, who is the main sponsor of the local singing competition, welcomed and celebrated the semi-finalists by rewarding them with a Samsung Galaxy Mini and a prepaid starter pack each, much to the delight of the aspiring hopefuls who were selected on 8 October 2011.

Speaking at prize presentation ceremony, Lisy Lee, U Mobile’s Head of Corporate Communications said “U Mobile has always been supportive to nurture young talents and support their pursuit to achieve their inner potential. We at U Mobile is proud to be part driving force that is making their dreams come true. “

“Pop Star is certainly a great hallway of opportunities for aspiring entertainers to showcase their talents. We hope you could join us at the grand finale as we witness the birth of Malaysia’s upcoming superstar,” she added.

The grand finale of Pop Star 2011 will be held on 13 November, 3pm at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, featuring a versatile line-up of talents and panel judges.

Members of the public can also show their support for their favourite semi-finalists by voting for them on Pop Star 2011’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/popstar2011, where the one with most votes will be crowned Most Favourite Singer.
