That European momentum is propelling Lukas Graham into the global spotlight as listeners worldwide connect with his unique blend of soul, pop, and alternative. In the U.S. alone “7 Years” is receiving 500,000 streams a week, with early support from key tastemaker radio stations like KROQ in Los Angeles, SiriusXM The Pulse, and KQX in Chicago. The track recently topped the Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists Chart.
Hailing from Christiania, an autonomous, artistic community in the center of Copenhagen, Lukas Graham Forchhammer’s honest and gritty songwriting immediately garnered overseas acclaim with the release of his 2012 self-titled debut album. Known for a phenomenal live show, Lukas has played countless sold out shows and festival main stage slots alongside his bandmates – Mark “Lovestick” Falgren (drums), Magnús “Magnúm” Larsson (bass), and Kasper Daugaard (keyboard) – childhood friends who play an integral role in both the songwriting process and the live performance.
