FACTS
According to the Keiser Institute on Aging: by the year 2010, people aged 55-74 will outnumber 25-34 year olds by 18 million! Around the world, baby boomers (those born 1946-1964) started turning 50, eight (8) years ago – at a rate of one every 8 seconds. In the USA, the rate is 11,000 per day and this will continue to do so for the next ten (10) years.
800,000 per month are turning 65 years old around the world, with China, the USA and the UK leading the pack. Singapore and Malaysia are no exceptions. Health-care costs will accelerate drastically if we do not inculcate healthy eating habits and exercise into our daily routine.
